Two of the most practical models on this site take minutes to learn and pay off immediately.
The Eisenhower Matrix: what to do
The Eisenhower Matrix sorts tasks on two axes — urgent and important. Do the urgent-and-important now; schedule the important-but-not-urgent (this is where real progress lives); delegate the urgent-but-unimportant; and delete the rest. Most people drown in quadrant one because they never protect quadrant two.
RACI: who owns it
Once you know what to do, RACI clarifies who does it. For each task, name who is Responsible (does the work), Accountable (owns the outcome — only ever one person), Consulted, and Informed. Most project confusion is really an unclear “A”.
Together they answer the two questions that sink most teams: what matters most, and who is on the hook. Find more decision tools in the Operations & decisions library.
